Union Square Artists, New York City

Union Square Artists is a group of more than one hundred working artists that regularly meet and collaborate on artistic projects and exhibitions in the historic Union Square district. The Union Square area, well known for its green market and history of social activism, is host to numerous working artists in all media.

The many artists in the Union Square Artists group find that their organization, spanning all artistic media and all walks of life, is a source of inspiration both to their individual work and to the community. The informal group hopes to bring more attention to the history and talent of artists in the area.
